A welcoming Episcopal community, rooted in tradition, living out faith through worship and service.

St. Philip’s Episcopal Church began in 1932 in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Forbes. What started as a small gathering of believers—led by The Reverend Q. E. Primo—quickly grew into a vibrant mission committed to being Faithful to God.
Through the hard work of dedicated parishioners and the generosity of local farmers, the congregation was able to purchase land and construct its first church building. As the parish continued to grow, the original site was eventually sold, leading to the purchase of our present location. From our earliest days until now, one thing has remained constant: our mission has never changed. St. Philip’s Episcopal Church continues to stand on the foundation laid in 1932. Our mission is—and has always been—to be Faithful to Christ.
From its earliest beginnings, St. Philip’s has embraced ministry to the homeless as a core expression of our faith. This commitment remains a central part of our identity and service today. Through compassion, outreach, and practical support, we continue to extend Christ’s love to those in need within our community.
